Chicago and Iraq…Iraq and Chicago. The comparisons abound and as a Chicago-native, there are some similarities but in my experience, I was far more fearful in downtown Ramadi than in any side of Chicago. That being said, this work of art represents Bravo Company of 1st Battalion, 106th Aviation Regiment of the Illinois National Guard – Mad Dogs! A very cool unit-sponsored work of art!
