This mural, submitted to our project via our website, www.GraffitiofWar.com by Douglas Dykstra who was deployed to Iraq during 2005 and had the foresight to document some of the art located around Camp Anaconda, Balad Iraq. This mural was created by Jeffrey Cruz (see signature on bottom right) in 2003. Ironically, the soldier in the mural is wearing the very same patch that I wore during my own deployment to Ar Ramadi, Iraq in 2006, small world. Regardless, this is one of the most impressive murals I have seen and we are proud to showcase it thanks to Doug and his documentation.
Over the course of nearly ten years, we have created almost a dozen videos to help raise awareness for the project mission and ultimately for those afflicted with the invisible wounds.
